Dear Authors and Supporters of ICEMS2024

It is our great pleasure to announce that the 27th International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS 2024) organized by the IEEJ Industry Applications Society will be held in Fukuoka, Japan, from November 26 to 29, 2024.
Started in Beijing in 1987, the ICEMS is now established as a regular annual event. The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity for scientists and experts to present the latest research developments in the field of electrical machines and their related systems (rotating and other machines, motor drives, power electronics, motion control, FACTS, renewable energy systems, and electric railway, and E-mobility) and exchange of useful information and experiences not only in cutting-edge technologies but also application specific technologies.
ICEMS 2024 will be held for the 6th time in Japan, following Nagasaki in 2006, Tokyo in 2009, Sapporo in 2012, Chiba in 2016, and Hamamatsu in 2020 (full remote conference). Fukuoka, located in the southwest of Japan, is a commercial and industrial hub city with a cosmopolitan atmosphere and convenient access. With Fukuoka's nature, food, and culture, we hope you will enjoy various technical sessions, company exhibitions, events, and deepen engagement between participants.
ICEMS 2024 is co-organized by the KIEE Electrical Machinery and Energy Conversion Systems Society (KIEE-EMECS) and the China Electrotechnical Society (CES), and is also technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IEEE-IAS). We are looking forward to seeing you in Fukuoka.

Conference overview

The industry Applications Society of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ) is pleased to announce that the 27th International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS2024) will be held during November 26-29, 2024, in Fukuoka, Japan. The aims of the conference are provision of an opportunity for scientists and experts to present the latest research developments in the field of electrical machines and their related systems (rotating and other machines, motor drives, power electronics, motion control, energy systems, and E-mobility) and exchange of useful information and experiences not only in cutting-edge technologies but also application specific technologies. Started in Beijing in 1987, the ICEMS is now established as a regular annual event. The ICEMS2024 has a technical co-sponsorship with the IEEE Industry Applications Society. All papers presented at the ICEMS2024 will be posted on the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Selected papers will be recommended to the review process for the possible publication in IEEJ Journal of Industry Applications and the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.
